Beer Garden
is an oasis of its own with more than 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor garden area, vast open seating, and plenty of TV’s.
The Midlands offers a thoughtful draft and bottled beer selection with a focus on local, European, and craft beers.
The Midlands also has 26 taps, ciders, wines, spirits, and draft cocktails. The Midlands serves up your favorite casual fare with giant pretzels, sandwiches, shareable nachos, and vegetarian options.
You are also welcome to order in your favorite food to enjoy in our garden. We are dog friendly in our garden area and welcome families!
We have fire pits and heaters outside and a fully heated indoor space.

Yes! We welcome dogs in our outdoor seating area! There is 3,000 sq ft of seating along with doggy water bowls, doggy beds and doggy ice cream!
Yes! We welcome any size reservation! Email us at themidlandsdc@gmail.com for all reservation inquiries. Please include: date, time, # of guests and your phone number. For parties under 30 people there is no reservation fee. Please note, parties above 30 people may be required to reach a minimum spend
Yes! We leave the majority of our seating open for walk-ins and only reserve a
few tables per day so come on by!
Yes! We have 3,000 sq ft of additional seating indoors! Its warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and on the best days – we can open all three bay doors so there is always plenty of fresh air coming in.
Yes! We have two covered sections outdoors along with 12’ umbrellas to shade
you from all sorts of DC weather.
Yes! Children are welcome until the kitchen closes at 10pm. We do not have high chairs but we do have two changing tables in our bathrooms
Yes! We have two ADA bathrooms and ramps to enjoy the outdoor area
Yes! All 5 of our bathrooms are gender neutral bathrooms.
- Yes we are! Proud members of the UMDC Alumni Club.
- We show all Michigan football and basketball games but we also show ALL Big Ten and other NCAA games, so just ask for a tv when you get in! Except during Michigan football games, then its all GO BLUE.
- We also show the Lions games! Come join us in celebrating the struggle that is the Lions….also dont worry, we show all NFL games as well.
If we can get it, we will show it. Just ask at the bar for an open tv and the bartenders will help get you situated!
